On the buses

Maltese buses are definitely more of a tourist feature than a state of the art mode of transport! Vintage Bedfords and Leylands imported from the UK, all dating back to 50s, 60s and 70s. Sadly no mod cons added for comfort, but they get you where you need to be very reliably and cheap. Also unusual is that the drivers own their own bus privately.
